Lane Strategy: You want to be focusing your damage on one target. Try getting the weaker enemy down to low health for your venom. You daggers can do a lot of damage if you can hit three in a row on one target. When you unlock ult your instakill threeshold will be at 700 damage. You get 400 damage from direct hit ult and 300 damage from venom. You also can bring it up to 840 kill threshold if you land a dagger first! After Coldfront (4.8k spirit spike): If you hit coldfront then dagger then venom then ult you will deal 1000 damage. (MAKE SURE TO USE VENOM 1 SECOND BEFORE ULT IF THE ENEMY HAS AN ABILITY THAT LETS THEM DODGE. [Like pocket suitcase or dynamo teleport])

Lane Building: if the enemy is on a hero that has a lot of healing (like Mo and Krill) then you can get t2 venom before t2 ult. DO NOT BUY RAPID ROUNDS UNLESS YOU PLAN ON BUYING POINTBLANK. You can buy your 4.8k gun spike before buying your 4.8k green spike if you feel like it will help you get more kills.

Mid Game Strategy: Roam around taking t2 camps while looking for enemies low on health to execute. Your main role is to execute low health enemies with your venom and ult. Pay lots of attention to the minimap and don't get killed while in the jungle. As soon as you buy Mercurial Magnum you can start farming the t3 camps. Once you get Leech you can start taking fights really well and you should be looking to get kills. Burst fire helps round out your consistant damage and mobility.

Mid Game Building: The general pick for your t3 gun item is Point Blank. Thats what I usually buy. However when the enemy team has 2 tanks I will buy toxic bullets. Sometimes when the enemy team has a lot of stuns or Damge over Times I will get blood tribute to reduce them. If you didnt buy pointblank, you can consider buying it after you buy burst fire. Otherwise you can sell close quarters in late game for better items.

Late Game Strategy: Once the game starts getting late, our venom+ult combo isnt quite as effective because of the high health pools. So start focusing on dealing high amounts of gun damage to one target at a time and then using our ult and venom to guarantee the kill. As the game goes on longer it becomes easier to counter Vyper so you have to adapt your items to the gamestate. Going full into gun damage can work against some players, but often times (especially in higher rank) most people will buy items that instantly counter this like metalskin and return fire. This is why building half into spirit damage and debuffs can make much more impact in super late game then just full into gun.

Late Game Building: Late game either start buying strong t4 items or resistances. If you are dying quickly consider buying the Resilience items (Escalating Resilience is better than Bullet Resilience on vyper). I usually buy Spiritual Overflow first for all the stats it gives and then I either buy Frenzy or Ricochet. Sometimes its hard to get good value in super late game fights so I will very very often buy Silencer and Inhibitor to reduce the enemies damage by 50% to my team!
