As of October 2026, there are no Clash of Clans cheat codes. With Town Hall 18 live, there’s no way to use codes or any other method to add gems to your village for free. The only “hacks” that do anything either let you access a different version of Clash of Clans on a private server or just get you banned. The gems you can get and the upgrades you can make on a private server don’t transfer to your real village.
Do Clash of Clans Cheat Codes Exist?
No. There’s no console, no cheat menu, and no redeemable gem codes. All resources, such as gold, elixir, dark elixir, and gems, are stored as numbers on Supercell’s servers. If some app does manage to modify your number of gems to 999,999, the change will be reversed upon the next synchronization with the server. Every Clash of Clans cheat lands in one of five buckets.
Method | What you get | On your real village? | Ban risk | Real cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Mod APK on a private server | Unlimited gems on a separate server | No | None, but malware from the sideload | Free, progress worth nothing |
Farming or nexting bot | Automated raids on dead bases | Yes | Permanent ban | Monthly fee, plus your village |
War sandbox tool | Enemy traps and clan castle troops revealed | Yes | Permanent ban, hardest policed | Your account and clan’s name |
Gem generator site | Nothing, ever | Never connects | Zero; it does nothing | Surveys, app installs, maybe your Supercell ID |
Legit in-game tricks | Faster loot, cheaper upgrades, slow gems | Yes | None | Time |
How COC Mod APKs and Private Servers Work
A COC mod APK is not a hacked copy of your game but a separate client that communicates with a different server.
● You get unlimited gems, gold, elixir, dark elixir, hero skins and sceneries, siege machines, and instant Town Hall upgrades.
● They advertise Town Hall 18 and the Dragon Duke.
● They mimic Supercell’s version number to pass as the latest version.
● They can’t use Supercell’s multiplayer functionality and can’t join Clan War Leagues, play against real clans, etc.
● They have update delays, so it took private servers weeks to clone the February 2026 update.
Null’s Clash, Atrasis, and the Unlimited Gems Pitch
There are two servers every mod site pushes: Null’s Clash and Atrasis. Null’s Clash has unlimited resources and the old global chat system. Atrasis has two servers: “Original,” which is like the actual Clash with maxed-out resources, and “Ultimate,” which has additional features like one-second upgrades and a custom hero from Brawl Stars.

Your Progress Never Reaches Your Real Village
A maxed Town Hall 18 on a private server? You close the app and it’s worth nothing. Private servers don’t have any Supercell ID functionality because all of the account info lives on their server.
They’re not available on Google Play or the App Store, so each new version requires you to sideload yet another APK from a sketchy website. If the app you’re using is requesting your Supercell ID, it’s a phishing app, not a mod.
Why Bots and War Sandboxing Get You Banned
Nexting bots automatically cycle through bases until they find one with a specific amount of loot, while raiding bots will send small groups of barbarians, archers, or goblins into abandoned bases. Supercell has been regularly issuing bans for botting accounts. These cheats have to communicate with Supercell’s servers while interacting with a live village, which makes them easy to spot.
More problematic is war sandboxing, which requires one of your clanmates to perform a token, two-percent war attack on a base. The program takes a snapshot of the entire village and learns the location of every booby trap, Tesla, and clan castle troop. The designated war attacker then loads up the program and practices attacking the cloned village until they’re able to three-star it. Opposing clans will be suspicious of a two-percent attack immediately followed by a three-star, however, and will report it.
How Supercell Catches Cheaters and What a Ban Costs

According to Supercell’s Safe and Fair Play policy, they use automatic and manual reviews, trained moderators, and community reports. Depending on severity, punishment is losing in-game currency, a temporary ban, or permanent closure, but if you are using third-party apps, closure will happen immediately. Under the terms of service, no refund will be issued for closed accounts, so all in-app purchases are lost with the villages.
Legit Gameplay Tricks That Feel Like Cheating
Older strategy guides often mention something like “hide elixir in the barracks queue.” This doesn’t work anymore, as Supercell did away with training costs in 2022 and training time in 2025, so there’s nothing to be refunded. Here’s what does:
● Full collectors and empty storages mean nobody is home. Raiders take 50% of collector contents but only 10 to 20% of storages, so Sneaky Goblins are the perfect army for emptying out collectors on a dead base.
● Clear the gem box as soon as you see one, as another won’t appear until you’ve gotten rid of the first. It pays 25 gems for 1,000 elixir.
● Zap-quake key defenses. Use lightning plus one earthquake to take out an air defense before releasing your army.
● Lure clan castle troops with one goblin or archer dropped near the clan castle, ideally toward a corner, and take them out before releasing your army.
● Use your shield. If you lose 30% or more of your available loot, you get a flat 8-hour Magic Shield. Attacking under it no longer costs you any time.
● Buy all 1-gem offers. For instance, the Goblin Researcher cost 1 gem in July 2026.
Faster Progress Without Risking Your Village

All gems provided by COC mods are fake. Outside of free in-game rewards, you can only add gems to your real village when you buy them directly from Supercell for real money or top up your gems through a marketplace.
Marketplaces such as igitems also list Clash of Clans accounts and boosting services. A village with a suspension on record gets rejected by buyers, and one with a mod history gets rejected even sooner. Only a clean village has any real value, so if you’d rather skip the early grind, an established account is better than any APK.
Clash of Clans Cheats FAQ
Are There Any Free Clash of Clans Codes or Gem Codes Right Now?
No. As of October 2026, Clash of Clans still doesn’t have an in-game redeem-code box, and it never has. Creator codes give about 5% of the profit from your purchase to a content creator, and they won’t get you anything in-game. Codes from the Supercell Store sometimes give you items like emotes and banners, but they’ll never give you gems.
How Long Does It Take to Earn 1,000 Free Gems?
This will take you about ten to fifteen weeks of daily F2P gameplay, not counting raid medal conversions, Supercell Store gems, or event tracks. Obstacles average 2 gems and appear once every 8 hours or so, while gem boxes give 25 gems. Your Builder Base gem mine gives you a few gems a day as well. Clan Games and achievements will be helpful here too, and the large achievement payouts can make up a sizable chunk of the total.
Can Installing a Mod APK Get My Main Village Banned?
Not by itself. Private server clients don’t talk to Supercell servers and cannot get your Supercell ID banned. But Supercell permanently bans mods that hook into their official client, and an APK asking for your Supercell ID is how village theft begins. To be on the safe side, keep original and modified clients on two separate devices.
