Zenless Zone Zero: Agent Tier List

Version 2.7 introduced a new stun agent, Nangong Yu, and immediately changed the agent rankings. Some of the best characters held on to their spot, though others, like Yanagi and Ellen, slipped to lower tiers.

These S-tier agents represent the strongest characters in the game and are the top picks for taking on end-game content in ZZZ.

• Ye Shunguang is still the best DPS agent with Rupture, high-output basic attack chains, and special attack animation cancels that provide her with insane damage ceilings, especially when built with optimal crit rate.
• Yixuan is the other Rupture powerhouse, with an attack chain and an EX special that make short work of most elite enemies. She effectively shreds resistance-stacking Shiyu Defense bosses with ease, especially against stunned enemies.
• Miyabi is still the meta-defining force she was since her release in 1.4, excelling at physical anomaly damage. While she runs well with a Stun or Anomaly character and Yuzuha, she also has excellent flexibility.
• Astra Yao still functions as the best support agent for most S-rank teams. Her core skill and special attack both buff ATK and DMG.
• Yuzuha is the best support character for anomaly teams that also buffs attack, anomaly buildup, and anomaly damage for the entire team, making her a must-have for most anomaly comps.
• Sunna arrived in 2.6, offering an entire package of support, including Ether Veil and Healing. She works best with the Angels of Delusion, or as a teammate to Ye Shunguang.
• Dialyn, Ju Fufu, Nangong Yu, and Trigger are the top Stun agents, each excelling at building daze to create openings for maximizing your team's damage output.

These A-rank agents fall short of the top, but their contributions to various team compositions are undeniable.

• Soldier 0 (Anby) packs a serious punch as an attack agent, though she requires her signature W-engine, and still ends up lacking compared to the Void Hunter trio. She's still very much viable.
• Yanagi is an excellent anomaly agent but lacks more team options. She currently works best with Burnice and Yuzuha.
• Vivian works best as an off-field anomaly sub-DPS, alongside F2P-friendly W-engine options. Highly recommended for accounts with new characters.
• Orphie and Magus fill a hybrid role, providing attack damage and support, best used with Aftershock units.
• Nicole, Lighter, Evelyn, Burnice, and Zhao all bring great value to their teams. While locked to specific comps, they enable their respective teams to truly shine.

These B-tier characters were some of the strongest S-rank characters in the game, but have since fallen in character tier mostly due to power creep, though some still perform competitively at M6. Ellen was once the top ice team leader, while Lycaon and Qingyi were top stun characters at launch. Jane used to decimate enemies, but her steep stat requirements relegated her to this tier.

Also included here are Soukaku and Pan Yinhu, who are F2P agents that support very functional teams.

These C-tier agents are generally lacking compared to many other available options. Low multiplier values, performance that pales in comparison to other units, or support skills that just don't match up well with newer supports. These units can still be used, but will generally make it more difficult to clear end-game content.

Being at the bottom of the barrel, these DPS characters will wear out old man hands in the span of a few minutes. It's just that much more difficult to clear most game content with these in your team. Play at your own risk.
