Clash Royale is a real-time multiplayer game developed and published by Supercell. The objective of the game is to destroy the opponent's three Crown Towers or to force the opponent to surrender. Players are able to use troops and spells to attack the opponent, with the goal of destroying their towers. Each player starts off with a King's Tower and an Elixir Collector. There are four different tiers of cards in the game: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. These cards can be used to spawn troops and spells for players to use in battle.
The game was soft-launched in Sweden on January 4, 2016, followed by other countries in the next few days. Clash Royale became available worldwide on March 2, 2016. Critics praised the game's successful blend of the card collecting and tower defense genres.
The objective is to destroy destructible towers belonging to each opponent using one's own army composed of different troop types that feature unique abilities or powers such as walking, jumping, attacking, and dying. Players are also able to use spells that can affect the game board in a number of ways.
The game progresses through a series of Arenas, starting at Arena 1 and ending at the Legendary Arena, each with more difficult opponents. Trophies earned by winning battles in each Arena add up to rank the player's level in that Arena. Players can choose to attack an opponent on the ladder, regardless of their rank; however, attacking higher-ranked opponents awards more trophies if they win. At the end of each battle, players receive cards and gold as rewards. Cards can be used to summon troops and spells for players to use in battle, while gold can be used to purchase chests that contain collectible cards and items. Chests take time to unlock, with the player having the option to pay gold to have them unlock immediately.
Clash Royale is a real-time, head-to-head battle game starring the Royales, your favorite Clash of Clans characters, and much, much more. Collect and upgrade dozens of cards featuring the Clash of Clans troops, spells, and defenses you know and love, as well as the Royales: Princes, Knights, Baby Dragons, and more. Fight in epic battles against players from around the world and then crush their castles with your superior deck strategies.
In Clash Royale, there are four buildings: the King's Tower, the Princess Tower, the Archer Tower, and the Cannon. The Towers are defensive structures that deal damage to any troops or buildings that come too close. They also have a crown on top of them that turns from white to yellow and then to orange as the Tower is damaged. Once it has turned completely orange, that means the Tower is almost destroyed and will soon disappear. When all of your Crown Towers are destroyed by an opponent, you lose the game.
There are three basic types of cards in Clash Royale (not including special units such as the Baby Dragon or Bowler): Buildings, Spells, and Troops, spread out in four tiers of rarity: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
Buildings: These include four defensive towers (King's Tower, Princess Tower, Archery Tower, and Cannon). Each building has different levels that can be upgraded when you earn enough experience points to reach higher arenas. take longer to destroy than troops, but their HP is also higher.
Spells: There are eight spells in Clash Royale, four offensive and four defensive. Spells cost elixir points to cast and can do things like damage enemy troops or towers, summon troops, freeze enemies in place or heal your own structures. Elixir points are automatically refilled over time during battles, but any that are used will take longer to regenerate.
Troops: There are four types of offensive units (Barbarians, Goblins, Hog Riders, and Minions) as well as two types of defensive units (Giants and the Golem). Troop cards have different amounts of health and damage dealt per second, with some inflicting more damage per second than others. The amount of elixir it costs to deploy them will depend on the number of units in the card, but you typically get a bigger time window to play these cards before they are locked in place.
The Log and the Miner are equally favored by players to counter enemy units. The former can hit low HP characters with its range, making it a good choice if you're up against an archer or tower, pushing troops in combat situations; while the latter has some tricks of its own; it’s capable of appearing anywhere on your map where there is space for it - including ambushes from behind! It doesn't deal much damage per shot but since the Miner only takes 1 elixir each at no cost whatsoever (rare) then this won't matter too much when things go south quickly anyway.
The best ways to get Clash Royale Cards are either buying with gold in the shop or through chests. But if you want a certain Legendary card that only appears on occasion then try digging up some of their elusive legendary counterparts: they're only found as rewards for Legendary Chests, Legendary King's Chests, and Mega Lightning Chests.
Trading for Legendary Cards also works if you have the token(s). Make sure that your card isn't one of those last copies before they're all taken though. And of course, there is always the easiest way out - buy Cards from igitems instead. Our player-to-player marketplace has a safe, cheap, convenient option with fast delivery - check it out now.
The first and most obvious reason is that players want to win. Buying cards gives players an advantage over their opponents, increasing the chances of winning. This is especially true in higher levels where players have better decks and understand the game better.
Another reason is that they enjoy the game. Card purchases could be considered a form of investment - players are spending money in the hopes of reaping rewards in the future. This could be in the form of trophies, new cards, or simply bragging rights.
