How Buying a Clash of Clans Skin Works
A skin can't be traded or gifted, so a seller logs into your account and buys it for you in the in-game Shop. You keep your village, your name and your progress. The skin appears in your Hero Hall.
- Pick the hero and the skin. Use the hero tiles above, then choose the skin and seller offer.
- Give the seller your Supercell ID email. Your account has to be linked to a Supercell ID. When the seller logs in, Supercell emails you a 6-digit code. Send that code to the seller in your order chat.
- Stay out of the game while the seller works. Opening Clash of Clans on your phone ends the seller's session and delays your order. The listing shows how long delivery takes.
- Check the Hero Hall, then confirm. Tap the hero, tap the hanger icon, and look for the new skin. Once it's there, press Confirm delivery. If the skin isn't there, open a dispute instead. The order closes on its own 4 days after the seller marks it delivered.

Two facts work in your favor. You can buy a skin for a hero you haven't unlocked yet, and the skin will wait in the Hero Hall. And most skins you missed come back, so "sold out" usually means "back next year".
Exclusive skins are the exception. The only way to own one now is to buy an account that already has it. Account sellers name those skins in their listing titles. Browse Clash of Clans accounts.

Supercell says it sells most cosmetics at full price. Here, sellers set their own prices, so you pick the offer that suits you. Comparing offers helps most in regions where a Legendary skin costs €11.90 to €11.99.

Is It Safe? Supercell's Rules and How Your Order Is Protected
What Supercell says
Supercell's Safe and Fair Play policy warns against third-party sellers who ask for your login. It says buying that way can lead to revoked items and, in the worst case, a ban. You should know about this risk before you buy, here or anywhere.
When Supercell revokes an item, the cause is usually the payment used to buy it. Supercell takes back a skin bought with a stolen card when the charge is reversed. No marketplace can promise what Supercell will do. We control who can sell here and when sellers get paid.
Red flags anywhere you buy
- Prices far below the in-game price. Skins sold that cheap are usually bought with stolen cards.
- "Free" or "-100%" skin sites, often advertised on Instagram.
What protects your order
- Vetted sellers. Every seller passes a government ID and selfie check, confirms a phone number and email, and uses a payment method in their own name. We review their first listing before it goes live.
- Payment hold. You pay igitems, not the seller. We pay the seller when you press Confirm delivery, or 4 days after they mark the order delivered if you don't respond.
- Disputes. If the skin doesn't show up, open a dispute from your order page before the order closes. Not confirming is not enough on its own. Our support team reviews every dispute.
How to Choose the Right Hero Skin
Once you know how buying works, the next question is which skin to get. Skins change how a hero looks. A good one swaps the model, the walk, and the attack and knockout animations, and adds effects and sound. Some Barbarian King and Archer Queen skins also change the look of the troops their ability summons. Damage, health and abilities stay the same.
So buy for the hero you deploy most. Your King and Warden show up in almost every attack and in every defense replay. Their skins are the ones you'll actually see. A Dragon Duke skin is only worth it if Dragon Duke is in your army.

Gold, Legendary and Exclusive Skins: When Each One Comes Back
If the skin you want isn't in the Cosmetics tab right now, its type decides whether and when it comes back. Most months, Supercell releases one Gold Pass skin plus a themed Legendary set with a skin for nearly every hero.
Gold Pass Skins
The Gold Pass costs $6.99 in the US and you can buy it once you reach Town Hall 7. Its skin unlocks at the first reward tier, so buying late in the month still gets you the skin. A Choice Node on the pass lets you pick either the season's skin or a returning classic. Twelve months after release, every Gold Pass skin goes into the Cosmetics tab for 1,500 Gems and stays there. Legendary Skins
Legendary skins cost about $9.99 each in the US, and you pay for them with real money, not Gems. They come out a few days apart early in the month and leave the Shop when the month ends. About 12 months later, most return to the Cosmetics tab at their original price. A few never come back, so if one matters to you, don't count on a second chance.
Exclusive Skins
Collab and one-time skins never come back. These include King Haaland, both WWE sets (Clashamania and Search for Cena), Shadow Samurai and Manga Fury Prince.
