Buying an account is not the same as committing a crime, but transferring accounts is against Epic’s terms. Epic may take action against an account it identifies as transferred.

Stolen accounts, chargebacks, past cheating and disputes with an original owner raise the risk. We prohibit stolen accounts, check sellers through our verification process and provide protection for the stated period. Changing the credentials, enabling two-factor authentication and using the account normally can reduce exposure. They cannot promise that Epic will never act.

The Epic account carries the locker. It can work on PC and supported mobile systems, and on PlayStation, Xbox or Switch after the right console account is connected through Epic settings.

Check whether the listing’s platform tag means compatibility or an existing connection. An old console link may need to be removed first. Only one account from each console network can be linked at a time. Most cosmetics carry across, but check the listing for any stated exceptions.
