Which CoC Account Is Right for You β€” Town Hall, Heroes, Maxed vs. Rushed

If you found this page, you're looking to buy a Clash of Clans account and skip building a base from scratch. The real question is which good part you're after.

The usual buyers are either of these four: Clan War and CWL players who want to compete immediately, pretty good players who just want cheap CoC accounts, clan managers who want to keep a second account for donations and war fills, or collectors who chase accounts with rare obstacles, scenery, and skins.

Which do you fit into? With your answer, use the table below to narrow down your choices by Town Hall tier and a few other features.

Collecting and status

TH17 and TH18 hold the newest content, along with the highest hero and equipment ceilings, and the longest unassisted build time of any tier. Naturally, accounts in this tier are also the most expensive, especially a TH18 max or close max build.

The check

Maxed vs. Rushed? Read three card fields together.

When buying, don't just look at the Town Hall number. That alone doesn't tell you anything about the account.

It's possible that the Town Hall upgrades were rushed, leaving heroes, troops, defenses, and walls underwhelmingly weak for their TH level. There have been multiple instances of TH16 accounts losing to a well-balanced TH14.

Check these three signals together. A mismatch across them usually reveals a rushed or tilted account.

  • Hero Journey. Each listing shows a Journey number summing upgrade progression across all six heroes: Barbarian King, Archer Queen, Grand Warden, Royal Champion, Minion Prince, and Dragon Duke. Compare it to the Max Journey ceiling in the tier table above, and a suspicious shortfall means rushed heroes. Filter by Journey range to narrow the list.
  • Max completion status. Every account has one of three completion badges: Full max, Standard, or Rushed. A Standard account can lean hero-max (weak defenses) or defense-max (weak heroes), priced differently. Filter by Overall Upgrade Level to narrow the list.
  • Epic equipment count and state. Count and max state both show per piece. Too few or mostly unmaxed usually means the account skipped mid-game equipment progression.

A Full max badge with a low Hero Journey usually points to rushed heroes. A high Hero Journey next to a Standard badge usually points to a hero-first build with weak defenses. When all three agree, the badge matches the account.

Buying CoC accounts suits players who enjoy every other aspect of the game except building a base from scratch. This page is for those players.

The price

Cheap Clash of Clans Accounts and Expensive Ones: What Moves the Price

You might wonder why you're seeing a TH18 account at $159.90, and another at $79.90. That's deliberate, and the price is dictated by the following:

  1. 01
Town Hall level. This dictates the upgrade ceiling and anchors the price.
  2. 02
Hero levels. You really have to grind out this one. That's why a near-cap Hero easily shoots up any listing's asking price.
  3. 03
Epic equipment count and max state. Equipment progress really relies on events and ores, and that level of dedication is often reasonably priced.
  4. 04
Max walls and defense completion. Here come the most expensive upgrades in Clash of Clans. The moment you see maxed-out walls, you can already predict its value.
  5. 05
Gems and magic items. Gems and magic items like Books, Hammers, and potions, once stored, lessen the need for future upgrades.
  6. 06
Builder count. Having prior builders and Builder Hall investments means a few fewer things for new owners to worry about.
  7. 07
Name-change availability. A free name change is basically free savings. No need to spend extra gems on a name change.
  8. 08
Skins, scenery, account age, and rare obstacles. This one commands collector-band pricing, as once the window closes, these goodies can never be earned again.

Protection

How Your Purchase Is Protected: Vetting, Payment Hold, Warranty

Scams online are everywhere, and when it comes to Clash of Clans accounts, there exists the recovery scam. It's when the seller uses account recovery to get the account back after receiving payment. How do we guard against it?

01

Before a seller can list

We don't allow random listings. Every seller submits government ID with a selfie, passes address verification, and sets up a verified withdrawal method before their first listing goes live. Only verified sellers can list. Compliance with igitems' guidelines is required to sell and to keep selling.

02

The payment hold, step by step

When you pay through the platform, igitems holds your payment automatically. From there:

  1. 1.You receive the credentials from the seller through igitems, timestamped and everything.
  2. 2.Log in and verify the account against the listing. Check Town Hall, hero levels, equipment, gems, name-change state, and access level.
  3. 3.If something doesn't match, use Report a problem on the order page to open a dispute, which then freezes your funds till the issue is fully resolved.
  4. 4.Only press Confirm delivery once you've verified everything, which then releases the payment to the seller.
03

Warranty

Every purchase carries a guarantee: you get the account you bought, or your money back. Coverage lasts for the life of your ownership, as long as you keep all account protection measures active. Report any issue during delivery and only press Confirm delivery once you have full control. Common resolutions include a fix, a replacement account, or a partial or full refund. This includes the recovery case, where the original owner attempts to pull the account back after the sale. Sellers must provide assistance on issues they caused, or face penalties or removal. Use Report a problem on the order page to start.

04

Not as described

If the specifications in the listing don't match certain aspects of the account (lower hero levels, used name change sold as available, or login-only access sold as full email access), do not confirm delivery. What you should do instead is open a dispute and wait for the support team to review it. Once proven, you'll have the option to keep the account with a partial refund, or give it up for a full refund.

Rules & risk

Is It Allowed? Supercell's Rules and How Buyers Stay Safe

Yes, people buy and sell Clash of Clans accounts every day. And no, we're not going to tell you it's within Supercell's Terms of Service, because it isn't.

It's not allowed, and Supercell can suspend an account once they find that it's been traded. In practice, though, this is extremely rare, and when it does happen, it usually hits only the traded account, not the other accounts you own.

That's also one of the reasons why the warranty exists. The mechanism of dealing with banned accounts is the same as the recovery case: you can ask for a replacement or refund if incurred.

igitems is an independent marketplace. Warranty and dispute support come from igitems, not from Supercell.

Community habits

Not a guarantee from igitems.

Don't
  • contact the in-game support about a purchased account, for any reason.
  • make in-game purchases, change the name, or push high Legend League during roughly the first two weeks.
  • discuss the purchase in public channels like Reddit, Discord, or social media.
Do
  • keep the account on one device for the first two weeks, instead of hopping between phones and emulators.
  • stay out of competitive settings that verify account ownership, such as esports qualifiers.
  • play Clash of Clans normally otherwise. A quiet, ordinary first stretch is the whole point.
After you buy

After You Buy a CoC Account: Delivery, Devices, and Regions

Every step between clicking Buy and playing, in order.

  1. 1

Browse the Clash of Clans accounts above, use the filters, and click to check the information in depth.

  2. 2

Check the delivery badge before you pay. Most listings say Instant, and some sellers state a delivery window instead.

  3. 3

Pay through the platform, never the seller directly.

  4. 4

You'll receive the credentials on your order page, including the account login and the email login attached to the account if it says `Full email access` on the listing.

  5. 5

Log in and check if the Town Hall, heroes, equipment, gems, and name-change state on the account matches the listing.

  6. 6

Press Confirm delivery to release the payment to the seller if everything aligns.

Devices. Your account lives on Supercell ID and works on iOS and Android alike, so accounts aren't bound to a specific device.

Regions. Confirm the account's region with the seller before buying, because some regions carry transfer or trade restrictions.

Handover

Make the Account Yours: the 5-Step Handover Checklist

Follow this 5-step checklist during handover. Once you finish all five, the account is fully yours. No one else can recover it or hack their way in.

  1. 1
    Secure the email account

Sign in to the delivered email account. In the security settings, change the password, replace the recovery email and phone with your own, and turn on two-factor authentication (2FA).

  2. 2
Sign in and log out other devices

Open Clash of Clans and sign in to the Supercell ID with the seller's credentials. Check the delivered email for a Supercell login-alert. If one is there, click `THIS IS NOT MY DEVICE` inside it to log out any device you don't recognize.

  3. 3
    Change the Supercell ID email

Open the Supercell ID settings, tap `Change Email`, and complete the verification sent to your new address.

  4. 4
    Enable Account Protection

Turn on `Account Protection` in the Supercell ID settings and link a recovery phone number when prompted. Supercell locks this recovery phone for 14 days, giving your ownership time to settle.

  5. 5
    Prove ownership with a purchase

Once the 14-day recovery lock completes, make a small in-game purchase using your own payment method. Save the receipt as proof of ownership if a dispute ever comes up.

Quick tip when it comes to timing

Recovery-phone updates run on Supercell's 14-day timer, so there's no benefit to rushing the handover. Spread the other steps across that same window to match Supercell's cadence rather than fight it.

Suspension risk, and how buyers keep it low, is covered above under Supercell's rules. What the warranty covers in the meantime is in the protection section. For the full walkthrough, see How to Secure Your Supercell Account.

Quick answers

Quick Answers

Can I change the account's name after I buy it?

Yes, and for free if the listing you bought came with an unused free name change. Otherwise, you can. It'll just cost you some gems. To avoid this, look for Name change: available or Name change: used in the listing.

How long is the warranty and what does it cover?

Coverage lasts for the life of your ownership, as long as you keep all account protection measures active. It covers the recovery case and listing mismatches. Common resolutions are a fix, a replacement account, or a partial or full refund.

Is delivery always instant?

Not always, but most listings offer instant delivery. If instant delivery isn't available, sellers include a delivery window, shown on the listing card. That's another thing to check before buying.

If a traded account gets banned, are my other accounts affected?

We've had no reports of that happening. The only account at risk is the traded account, and it shouldn't affect other accounts on your device.

What does Full email access mean?

You get the email account that owns the Supercell ID, not just the game login. Full access means you can change the Supercell ID email, add 2FA, and control account recovery yourself. Listings without it only give you the in-game credentials. Check for it on the card before buying.

Sell

Have a Clash of Clans Account to Sell?

You can list your CoC account for sale here to vetted buyers, with your payout protected by the same features that buyers also get. Funds are released to you the moment the buyer confirms delivery. It's that easy.
