You won’t find Darth Vader’s lightsaber in any chest since you need to defeat Darth Vader himself to get it. Go to the southeast area of Greasy Grove to fight him. His ship flies close to the Battle Bus and lands in the Greasy Grove woods. There will be a light shining above Darth Vader’s location when he’s available to fight.
Defeating Darth Vader is no easy task, so make sure you are ready before trying to take him down. Once you do, you will be able to loot him and use his lightsaber.
As it happens with Luke Skywalker’s items, you can also take the lightsaber from the loot of players who had it when you killed them.
How to Use Lightsabers
Using the lightsabers is not difficult at all. They work as melee weapons, and you can use them to block hits. However, you can still get hurt by some hits when you block them.
The only thing you need to do to block hits with the lightsabers is to hold L2/LT when playing on PlayStation or Xbox respectively and the right mouse button on PC; that’s the button you use to aim down guns in the game.
