Five Best CS GO Players in 2022

This is our list describing the best Counter Strike: Global Offensive Players of our time and is based on player popularity and ranking in the past and present tournaments.

Rank 1: S1MPLE

I'd never have predicted that s1mple would have ranked that highly. The world's best player in CS GO, without a doubt. There's no denying that he has made a good development this year. This year, he has a rating of 1.36, an ADR of 87.0, and an effect of 1.41. His player rating of 1.47 is at the most recent Major was the highest ever. Nobody can match this man's intensity when he's on fire. He is, without a doubt, the finest player in the world of CS GO. In this game, he has been the most dominant player ever. S1mple made it look easy because of his high IQ plays.

Rank 2: M0NESY

Second place goes to G2's newest rising star. At the beginning of 2022, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov joined G2, and the team's performance improved by 35%. G2 finished second at IEM Katowice, and they're looking well heading into the next PGL Major Antwerp. It's safe to say that Ilya already has an ADR score of 82.8, with an ADR rating and impact score of 1.25. He is currently the top player in G2, but he still has a lot of grinding and room for more improvements. A CS GO rising start player that can dominate upcoming tournaments, keep an eye out for him in 2022. Many argue that an other legendary player, KennyS should also be in the list though as an inactive player he was no longer granted a spot on this list.

Rank 3: NIKO

The notorious NiKo has a lot of unanswered questions heading towards the year 2021. As a result of his tainted history on FaZe, he was viewed as having gone off the rails. He is the best goalie in the history of the sport. His films will be remembered long after Counter-Strike has faded into the gaming community. Because of him, they made it to the finals of a major tournament, even though they had little chance of doing so on paper. His sway over a map is second to none. Because of not just his ability to shoot, he can dominate matches with the help of his team. He's been a player long enough to understand the game after years of perfecting his aim. Though he was accused of cheating many times, that is something most of the top players had to deal with at some point in their career. He is a joy to watch, proving to the community that he is a player not to be wrecked with. If he succeeds now, it will be a comeback for him. Keep an eye out for him in these 2022 tournaments.

Rank 4: SH1RO

Sh1ro was a rising celebrity in the internet gaming community. He was playing out of his mind with an AWP style that was both exciting and aggressive. If you are also planning to become a pro player, you should probably start by hiring a professional CS:GO coach to help you improve at an increased rate. He was the most entertaining player to watch for a long time. When LAN games resumed, his performance dipped slightly, but it was still outstanding. Even with a less impressive showing at the major, a +49 +/- kills and a 1.21 HLTV rating was still impressive results. It's an amazing accomplishment for his first-ever professional LAN. Sh1ro deserves to be on the top list because his playstyle is differently from pro leagues.

Rank 5: B1t

B1T has been running at a blisteringly fast clip throughout 2021. His teammates' outstanding performances have been overshadowed at times, but he has fast become the team's new star. At the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, he had a 1.27 HLTV rating. In this game, that's the most pressure you can face. B1T is more like a team player supporting his team in the shadows, but he can dominate a game with no problem if given a chance.

There are retired players we would have loved to put  on this list, but couldn’t as they are unfortunately not playing the game on a professional level and decided to pursuit a career in coaching instead.
