You'll Need

  • Your Steam account
  • Steam client (or any browser)
  • A Steam Gift Card code

Step-by-step

  1. First, log in to your Steam account.
  2. On the top, Menu: between “Friends” and “Help,” click Games
  3. Click “Redeem a Steam Wallet Code”
  4. Paste (or type) the code into the field, then click the Continue button.
  5. Refresh the page, and your balance will be updated with the amount you’ve redeemed on the code.

Troubleshooting

Regional retail card.

Physical Steam Wallet Cards or Gift Cards are region-locked. Digital wallets should convert to your wallet after redemption.

Code already redeemed.

Check "View Purchase History". And if it's still missing, contact the igitems' support team with your order receipt.

Character misread.

Since it’s easy to mix up Q/0, I/1, and 8/B, make sure to just copy the entire code or just type it slowly.

Can I change my account currency?
