Valorant Agent Tier-liste

The current Valorant meta heavily favors utility-driven play, with controllers and initiators dominating the upper tiers. Duelists have largely fallen from grace, scattered across the middle and lower tiers as coordinated, ability-focused compositions continue to define competitive play.

Clove stands alone at the pinnacle of the tier list, offering a level of game-shaping utility that no other agent can currently match. As a controller, Clove's unique ability to act beyond death makes her an extraordinarily resilient pick, providing smokes and aggressive playmaking without ever fully surrendering map control. Her self-revival mechanic means she can absorb pressure that would sideline any other agent, and her capacity to smoke from beyond the grave keeps her team's setups intact even in the worst-case scenarios. This combination of durability, flexibility, and raw impact makes Clove a near-mandatory inclusion in virtually every competitive team composition at the highest level of play.

A tier is densely packed with some of the most reliable and competitively viable agents in the game. Sova remains the gold standard for information-gathering, his Recon Bolt and Owl Drone providing consistent intel across nearly every map. Killjoy and Cypher anchor sites with suffocating sentinel utility, while Fade and KAY/O offer aggressive initiator options that excel at disrupting enemy setups. Breach continues to be a powerhouse on maps with tight corridors, and Omen and Astra give controllers strong global presence and mind-game potential. Viper's area-denial capabilities keep her essential on certain maps, Sage provides irreplaceable healing and resurrection, and Tejo rounds out the tier as a versatile initiator with strong ranged utility. Every agent here is a legitimate competitive pick.

B tier contains agents who remain viable but come with notable limitations or face stiff competition from higher-tier alternatives. Phoenix has seen some improvements but still struggles to justify his slot over stronger duelists and initiators. Chamber retains his precision-play identity but lacks the broader utility that once made him dominant. Gekko offers a unique multi-ability kit that rewards coordinated play, while Iso brings a high-risk dueling style that can pay off in the right hands. Skye is a capable initiator with strong healing, though she often loses out to Fade and Sova in competitive priority. Deadlock provides interesting denial utility, and Brimstone offers reliable smokes and stim support, though his global limitations hold him back.

C tier is home to agents who struggle to find consistent footing in the current meta. Reyna remains a pub-stomping specialist whose kit offers almost nothing for teammates, making her a poor fit for coordinated competitive play. Vyse is a niche sentinel whose utility, while creative, rarely outperforms more established options. Jett was once the face of the duelist role but has never fully recovered from her nerfs, leaving her in a difficult spot despite her mobility. Waylay is a newer addition whose impact has yet to justify a higher placement. Raze brings explosive damage potential but is increasingly difficult to justify when utility-heavy compositions dominate the competitive landscape.

Neon and Yoru occupy the bottom of the tier list, each struggling with fundamental issues that limit their competitive viability. Neon's speed-based kit is exciting but inconsistent, and her fragile health pool makes her difficult to pilot effectively at high levels. Yoru's deception-focused toolkit demands enormous investment for situational payoffs that more reliable agents simply outperform, keeping him firmly on the fringes of competitive consideration.
