League of Legends: Champions Release 2022

We had a total of four champs in 2021. Each of them had a key role in the League of Legends canon narrative around Senna, Lucian, and Viego. The Sentinels Tournament was a big aspect of 2021, and the champions that were released were crucial. Renata was also one of the latest additions to the game and she is now played almost every game in pro the professional scene as her bailout and ultimate abilities can be game changing.

Riot Games has released the updated League of Legends Champion Roadmap, which highlights the new champions coming to Summoner's Rift this year. The next champion already teased by Riot games seems to be Nilah, it is not sure yet how she will be played though. According to the designers, they will slow down on the development of releasing a new champion to give each recent arrival to League "all time and hype they deserve." Excited for 2022? Here are the new champions that await!

Jungler Skirmisher

After Renata Glasc's emergence, the next champ will conquer the jungle, with the goal of doing identically for all of Runeterra. As mentioned in the last Champ Roadmap, the newest jungler intends to dominate everyone upon arrival from the Void. Lavender Sea, the empress, is expected to approach the Rift in the following patches as she 'feeds on your soul.' Based on what has been seen thus far, it may be assumed that the champion's abilities would cause her opponents (and possibly allied troops) to succumb to her desires, eating their 'essence' to display "the true nature of the Void."

A Bot Champion with A Twist

Riot Games is set to release a cheerful but deadly champion with unknown origins which could be linked to a "place over the seas." A brief story about the mysterious champion is told, which involves a brawl in a restaurant during which the stranger killed a Noxians. As said by the restaurant owner named Bill, fog engulfed the area and a splash of water was heard initially before the Noxians' bodies were discovered. People may remember Riot's Champions teaser from January, which featured a joyful stranger with water-controlling abilities. A colorful set of hands was tied together with a flowing blue substance caught in the middle of the image. It was created with the intention of bringing a modern bot laner who will 'attempt to whip off' at the start of the year.

The narrator was challenged by the restaurant owner to verify his astonishing account by paying a visit to the colorful, lethal, and joyous individual who resides above the café. The storyteller declined to do so this time, but it's likely they will another time.

Shurima's latest top-lane tank
Riot dropped hints of what could be the final champion introduced in 2022 to the League community. In Runeterra: The Pride of Nazumah, Riot has left what could be seen as a hint about a distinct view of the desertic region. Fans may speculate that the place depicted in the image is "Nazumah" and that "Pride" is at the tank top lane slated to arrive on Rift later this year.
